The Virtual Server Administration Interface (VAdmin) is a powerful, Web-based collection of tools that comes preinstalled on your server. VAdmin allows customers to administer their servers through an intuitive Web interface.
NOTE: All of the files used by VAdmin are located in an area outside your server's directory space. As a result, VAdmin does not take up any additional space on your server.
To use VAdmin, visit the following URL, where yourdomain.com is your actual domain name:
http://www.yourdomain.com/vadmin
By default, you are taken to the main screen of the VAdmin interface:
The following links appear across the top menu bar of the VAdmin interface:
Mail Management. The Mail Management tools allow you to create and manage email aliases, virtual user mappings, and catchall addresses, as well as set access restrictions to your mail server.
User Administration. The User Administration tools allow you to add users with access to email, FTP, and Samba, and to change user passwords.
User Information. The User Information tool allows you to change your personal information, including full name and password.
Web Server. Through the Web Manager, you can analyze the log files on your websites. Graphical charts will be generated once a day. You can use either Analog or Webalizer to generate your charts.
Network Services. The default Server Status screen allows you to check your available disk space, and to view the processes that are currently running on your server.
System Settings. You can use the Event Manager to change your server’s time zone.
VAdmin is non-branded as a service to our resellers. The following sections go into greater detail about the tools that are available through the VAdmin interface.
