Granting and Revoking User Privileges

You can grant privileges to a user by making the user a member of one or more of the special user groups. You can also revoke a user's privileges by removing the user from a special user group.

To grant or revoke a user's privileges, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the View/Edit/Delete User Accounts link from User Administration menu.

  2. Click the Privileges link of the user account you wish to update.

The User Privilege Management form appears, as shown below:

  1. Check or uncheck the boxes as appropriate.

The user will be a member of each of the special user groups that is checked, and will therefore assume the privileges associated with each of the selected user groups.

  1. Click the Modify button to activate the new settings.
